Centennial Scholarship for Early Graduation
Criteria: Any public school student who has (1) a Student Education Occupation Plan (SEOP) on file, (2) has indicated to the secondary school principal the intent to complete early graduation, (3) has completed all required courses or demonstrated mastery of required skills and competencies, and (4) has graduated from a Utah public high school is eligible.
Amount: Depends on time of graduation, up to $1,000

Hispanic Scholarship Fund
Description: HSF gives over 4000 scholarships each year. The earliest deadline is December 15. Applicants must be of Hispanic heritage, be a US citizen or legal permanent resident of the US, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and are evaluated on academic record, financial need, community service and personal qualities. Must complete the FAFSA. Several different scholarships available.
Amount: $1000-$15,000

UHEAA's Super Short Essay Scholarship
Description: Students must submit a 500 word essay on a topic provided by UHEAA (see website for details). Essay must be submitted at one of UHEAA’s financial aid nights or submitted within 7 days of attending a financial aid night. (See website for dates and places).

Wal-mart/Sam Walton Community Scholarship Program
Description: Any senior who is not an employee of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., or child/ dependent of an employee of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Based on financial need, academic record, ACT/SAT test scores, community/ extracurricular involvement and work experience. Other deadlines: March 1, 2012, June 1, 2012
Amount: $1,000

"Financial Connects" Scholarship
Description: Create an original two to three minute financial literacy video or interactive game that promotes financial literacy and correlates with the Department of Education s financial literacy standards. A one paragraph proposal is required with your submission. You may participate individually or as a team associated with a nonprofit or school.

“Make the U” (Haz La U) Scholarship
Description: Colgate-Palmolive and the Hispanic Scholarship fund are happy to announce the return of this scholarship for a second year in a row. Students of Hispanic American heritage are encouraged to apply. Must be a U.S. citizen, minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, plan to attend college full-time at a U.S. accredited institution.
